I'm John Whitmore. I'm interested in Night Sky, Sports/Action, Nature/Wildlife, Landscape photography based in Rehoboth Beach, DE. What I love about photography is how it teaches us to slow down take in your surroundings and appreciate the beauty in the world.
My photographic journey began when I retired. I've always had an interest in photography, but never had the time to invest in it. Now I do. I say a journey because I am constantly learning and growing as a photographer. I'm fortunate to live in an area replete with wild life. I'm also so fortunate to participate in an outstanding photography club focused on sharing and learning.
I love the diversity of genres in photography which continually challenge me with new and exciting learning experiences.
